Are you getting the most distance and consistency out of your irons? Stop the crazy flyer shot over the green or short siding yourself with slightly fat shots. Proper shaft weight, length and flex and lofts and lies on your irons are critical to scoring.
Most golfers view an iron fitting as swinging a few different shaft flexes and checking the lie angle. The iron and wedge fitting process we put our golfers through is critical to delivering the most accurate, consistent shots that will have you hitting more greens in regulation.
We will profile your existing irons (flex, length, swing weight) as well as check the current loft and lie. We then take your swing measurements on TrackMan to determine your strength, consistency of contact and ball flight characteristics. Our professional fitters will then select the right shaft and head combinations for your irons and wedges and test you on our launch monitors to improve launch angle, distance and shot dispersion. Our goal is to decrease shot dispersion by 50% and increase distance 5-10%. We will then recommend shaft length, shaft flex, shaft weight, shaft type, shaft tip stiffness, loft, lie and head design for your irons. This can be accomplished either by re-shafting your existing clubs or building you a new set. We will also recommend the proper set makeup and wedge lofts, bounce and grind. Our Iron Fitting is approximately one and a half (1.5) to two (2) hours.
And, our clubfittings are good for your lifetime! Come back next month, next year, or five years from now and never pay another fitting fee!
All of our fittings go through our Seven Step Fitting Process
